Official Pizzamania Merch is Now Available!
We heard you loud and clear! Since the fire, the number one question we’ve received has been how you can support our staff and keep the Pizzamania spirit alive. Your unwavering support and encouragement have meant the world to us, and we’re excited to announce that official Pizzamania merch is now available!
We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, designing a collection of short and long sleeve shirts that represent everything you love about Pizzamania. This new merch lets you show off your love for our pizza and support the incredible Pizzamania Employees as we rebuild.
All proceeds from merch sales will go directly to supporting our Pizzamania employees.
Thank you for being part of our journey. We can’t wait to see everyone rocking their Pizzamania gear!
With gratitude,
The Pizzamania Family
An Update on Pizzamania
September 12, 2024
We all face tragedies. Pizzamania is no exception. Don’t get us wrong. We’re blessed and we know it. But, after 51 years, an arsonist burned our restaurant to the ground. TO THE GROUND! That is a tragedy; our tragedy. This act of devastation impacted many—our dedicated employees, loyal customers, trusted vendors, and fellow business owners. These hardworking individuals form the cornerstone of our local economy, and they deserved better. And then there’s the other businesses affected in our center—El Camino, Sunshine Liquor, Bianca’s Beauty Salon, and Everytable. They too were burned to the ground. These are good people who work hard. They don’t deserve this. Not gonna lie. We were brought to our knees when this happened.
Now what? Do we just roll over? Do we let the arsonist get the best of us or have the last word? HELL NO. We’re working on the path forward. That path is uncertain. But damn it, there is a path. It is forward, not backward.
Our most immediate concern is our current staff; made up of 46 hard-working individuals who are the backbone of Pizzamania. They are the ones who took your orders, made your pizzas and other menu items, always working toward our goal of serving products that are “absolutely the best.” Our current staff members are among the thousands of employees who have tied on a Pizzamania apron from the local neighborhoods, surrounding communities, and area high schools and colleges. This tragedy has shaken them. If you wish to support Pizzamania Employees, please consider contributing to our GoFundMe campaign. All proceeds will directly benefit our dedicated employees.
Then there is the Whittier community. You’ve been so supportive over the last 51 years. We couldn’t have done it without you. And now, with all of the kind and heartfelt messages relayed directly to us and through social media, we are just in awe. We’re truly humbled. It is a beautiful thing. That is because it is a beautiful community. We feel the love. And we hope you know we love you back.
We’ve received many requests from our community for Pizzamania merchandise as a way to show support during this time. We’re working hard to get that up and running as soon as possible. Stay tuned to our social media and this website for updates on when these items will be available for purchase. Please hang with us while we roll out PIZZAMANIA 2.0!!
With much love,
The Pizzamania Family
